LAPD Fast-Track Testing Process

All applicants must complete the Online Application on myPD.joinlapd.com. Please note that you must create a profile AND submit an application on Step 1 of the LAPD Candidate Seven Step Hiring Process shown in myPD.

While completing the myPD application, you will be given the option of registering for the Fast-Track Testing process.

• To participate, please selectFast-Track Testingwhen you fill out your Police Officer Application by checking the box next to the instructions.
• When being scheduled for appointments throughout the selection process, candidates will be given advance notice of at least 10 calendar days before their scheduled appointment. If you would like to waive this advance notice, and instead be scheduled for the next available appointment, then you can do so by opting in to Fast-Track Scheduling.To move forward in the fast-track process, you must agree to the following conditions:
• Out of town candidates who may have trouble meeting these conditions should call 213-473-9060 after passing the PHS, to schedule remaining test parts.
